 GIG: Sun 16-Oct-05 - The Guildhall, Axminster (Devon) (review this gig)
'Well done lads. A great start to the evening, topped only by the superb Wishbone Ash set.
As an "oldie" taking a car load of 15-17 yrs olds to the gig I argued that you lot were much better than the other support (The Morris Brothers Band). You certainly got my head nodding in a 22-20's rocking sort of way. I'll look out for the album and wish you success for the future.' |

'Your set had a softer timbre than I had experienced before, but felt more melancholy too, haunting even. The gig was terribly surreal. I think the elderly couple jiving finished me off(talented as they were) but I will be back soon to see more...' |

 GIG: Mon 29-Aug-05 - The Carlton Inn, Honiton (review this gig)
'What a brilliant night. I was wondering how many people were gonna turn up on the night (due to the fact that SBA had done two Honiton Gigs in the same weekend prior to this one) but the place was packed! The band kicked off with Set yourself free and from the few opening bars, you could tell that the band were on top form. But like all good things, the night had to come to an end, but not without Chappers perfoming a face melting drum solo in the middle of Honky Tonk Woman. The night was drawing to an end, all we needed then was some wierd, drunken babble from Scotty (I S**t Myself!) and the night was complete. The Angels sure did live up to their name of being sweet! ' |
