'Hi Guys just thought that I'd drop you a line. Just wanted to say that the motel gig has to have been the best SBA gig I've been to. Hey, its Im usually not still talk about local gigs three days later but with this one I am. Another thing that I'd like to say is that you have to be one of, if not, the best band that we have worked with. Its good to see that there is bands out there doing it right. Also, what I heard of you over the volunteer (had to leave feeling hungry) on sunday was really good. Anyway better stop babbling now. See you in the Con Club in Febuary!' |

GIG: Sat 18-Dec-04 - The Jailhouse, Coventry (review this gig) 'John Otway was good, but the big suprise were Sweet Black Angels. As with many gigs nowadays its always worth hearing at least some of the support act as you just don't know what you may hear.
SBA seem to be a pretty well polished group and were really great live. There seems to be a hint of the Levellers, but with a much harder edge. Great support slot, hope to see you playing as the main band at the Jailhouse in the near future.
Tony.
PS. Almost forgot, the band seemed really nice too, I asked about the website and was given a free CD! Cheers guys ' |
