GIG: Sun 29-Aug-04 - The Wine Bar, Honiton (review this gig)
'Thought id come down and check out the sweet black angels in an acoustic setup to see if they could create the same energy as there full electric performances. I was pleasently surprised and was very impressed with the way the songs were easily adapted into an acoustic style. The night was ended superbly with a bad company track and had the crowd shouting for more, which obviously the lads gladly obliged to. Overall, i thought it was a great performance and look forward to seeing them again!!'

'Hi Guys! Sorry i didnt make the birmingham gig to do another review on you, i had to engineer the sound for my brothers band that night. Just read the other reviews, looks like you're getting good feedback at all your gigs. Well keep it up and i'll try to make it the next time you gig this way, hopefully you'll have your new album for sale! Cheers Si! Keep on rocking!!'

GIG: Sat 07-Aug-04 - Winstons, Seaton (review this gig)
'Well what can i say! Wot a F***ing brilliant night! The power of sound was just right with Mark's Bass just at the right level so not only could you hear it you could feel it giving each song a punch. Whilst Smoo and Dan's lead guitar breaks and Scotty's Vocal's Giving the songs the lead that they need. Chapper's drumming was enough to make your hair fly backwards as if ur were going down the motorway at 100mph with your head out the window. The sound overall was powerful (almost enough to blow you away!) and went down very well with all the audience. The only way the whole thing could have been made better is that the band could have had some naked ladies dancing at the side of the stage but I suppose that would have been off putting for the band and a little too much to ask for!'

'sba manager: gave your ep to a musician in switzerland who really liked your style and might be able to organise you a gig. he's called chris and will get in touch with you as soon as he gets back from his time off (3 month song writing in the alps!)(october-ish) would be cool to see you play in my home town with its own brewery!!!!! good luck!!!'

'This was probably the best local band rock gig I have been to. What can I say these guys can rock! Smoo on guitar was spot on keep itu p mate, Scoty had plenty hard edge indie in his singingand as always Chapper's going mad on drums. Sweet definitely, black maybe angles thats one we can debate on! Rock On! '

GIG: Tue 29-Jun-04 - Jail House, Coventry (review this gig)
'Came over from Birmingham after seeing one of your gigs at the Old Railway. As per usual you put on another great performance, especially liking the new one you played (cant wait to hear that one recorded). The energy was great and even though there wasnt a massive audience you could tell there was a good connection between the crowd and the band. The last song with its driven ending rounded off the night perfectly and left everyone wanting more. I see you're in Birmingham this weekend, i will definitely be there for that one and try and write a more detailed review. Hope this is the kind of thing you're looking for, all the best, Simon!'
